It seems Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens can’t keep their hands off each other. The “High School Musical” stars, who are dodged with rumours that they are set to split, looked all loved up at the MTV Movie awards after party, reports China Daily.
“They were holding hands, dancing close and always had their arms around each other,” said a source. They were joined by host of other celebrities including What Happens in Vegas star Cameron Diaz and “Twilight” co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. [Source]
Zac Efron will join the illustrious ranks of celebrities who’ve had cameos on “Entourage,” when he makes an appearance this season. MTV News has confirmed that Efron, whose just won the MTV Movie Award for Best Performance Male for “High School Musical 3,” will have a cameo in an episode of the show’s sixth season, which kicks off July 12. An HBO rep told MTV that, like Mandy Moore in the past, Efron will be playing himself, although no other details about his plot were revealed.
On Tuesday, Efron was seen filming the cameo at Niketown in Beverly Hills, E! Newsreports. The crew, along with the “17 Again” star, arrived around 9 a.m., before the store opened, to shoot the scene.
“He was filming a scene and talking on his cell phone,” one Niketown employee told the Web site. “None of the other ‘Entourage’ cast was here. He was really nice. He was wearing sunglasses, and he left in a limo with another guy.”
Other cameos that are reportedly set for the upcoming season include Lil Wayne, Tom Brady and LeBron James. And E! reports that Gary Cole, Autumn Reeser and Kate Mara are joining the show as agents and assistants who work with Vincent Chase and the boys.
Of course, if Efron or Wayne needs any advice about acting on the show, they can always contact one of the A-listers who’ve appeared in the past, like Jimmy Kimmel, Luke Wilson, Kanye West, Martin Scorsese, Gary Busey, Snoop Dogg, Larry David and Jessica Alba.
Recently, Efron has said that he’s looking to grow up a bit in the roles he’s picking, and a cameo on “Entourage” would certainly help build a more mature image. “It’s just a ton of timing. Right now, I’m looking for a new challenge,” he told MTV News. “I’m very excited about the future and trying new things and the unknown. Not that I’m done with musicals in any way, but I feel like I’ve made somewhat of a mark there, and I’d like to try new things before going back to my safe place.” [Source]
Zac Efron really wants to be in girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens’s upcoming action flick, “Sucker Punch,” because he’s dying to work with director Zack Snyder. There’s just one thing getting in the way: Zac’s manhood…
“I think it’s an all-girl movie,” Efron told me backstage at the MTV Movie Awards right after picking up the Golden Popcorn for Best Male Performance for his work in High School Musical 3: Senior Year. “But if there’s any way to be in that film, I’d do it. I’d play a girl if I had to.”
Hudgens, meanwhile, tells me she’s hoping to channel some Angelina Jolie for her action-packed work in “Sucker Punch.”
“I’m so stoked about it,” she said. “I kept telling everyone, ‘I want to do an action film.’ But they were like, ‘Maybe in a few years.’ So I’m like, ‘Ha, in your face. I am doing one now!'”
Hudgens will shoot “Sucker Punch” after completing “Beastly,” which she starts filming this week in Montreal. [Source]
Twenty high quality images of Zac Efron posing with his MTV Award for “Best Male Performance” have been added to the gallery. Expect more pictures from the gala – I am in the process of collecting them.
