Growing up, Zac Efron loved nothing more than pretending to be Marty McFly from “Back To The Future.” The role, played be Michael J. Fox, will be one that all of us are familiar with, and Zac is no exception.

In a previous interview TeenHollywood reports that Zac said: “Growing up, my favourite thing to do was to climb into the car and play ‘Back To the Future.’ I would pretend I was Marty McFly.”

This got us thinking, should they ever dare to remake the “Back To The Future” films, who would we want to take on the role of Marty? Would Zac make a good Marty? [Source]

Anthony Mandler has been set to direct “Die In A Gunfight” for Media Rights Capital, the Gabriel Ferrari/Andrew Barrer-scripted film that has Zac Efron attached to star. Mark Gordon is producing with Jennifer Todd. Mandler, a photographer, music video and commercial director, is separately attached to direct Vlad at Summit Entertainment, with Plan B producing. UTA and Management 360 reps the director.

The scribes wrote “Die In A Gunfight” right out of NYU, and it made the 2010 Black List. Efron is attached to play a fight-prone and death-obsessed young society man who pursues a romance with the daughter of his father’s enemy. [Source]

After years of being off the market, Zac Efron is now 100% single and is enjoying meeting new girls. A friend of Zac’s tells HollywoodLife.com, the 23-year-old heart throb is officially moving on from Vanessa Hudgens and is finally a free agent. We’ve seen Zac out with some girls throughout the last few weeks and asked one of his friends if he’s settling down again.
